Synopsis
Nathan Detroit needs $1,000 to set up this week’s incarnation of “The Oldest Established Permanent Floating Crap Game in New York”, so he makes a bet that Sky Masterson can’t get Sarah Brown (whose mission is short on sinners) to go with him to Havana. Then there’s Miss Adelaide, who’s been waiting 14 years for Nathan to marry her. Throw in songs like Fugue for Tinhorns; Luck Be a Lady; Sit Down, You’re Rocking the Boat and you’ve got quite a musical.
